White Tree Service LLC is a locally owned and operated company that has been operating in Indianapolis, Indiana since 2017. We offer all types of tree services, including tree trimming, tree removal and stump grinding. Our tree service area includes everywhere within 50 miles of downtown Indianapolis.

Our Tree Services for the Indianapolis Area
Tree Trimming
We provide tree trimming services to improve their appearance and prevent accidents. Here’s a Bradford pear that has grown quite tall. Bradford pears are popular because they are attractive (Especially with their white flowers in early spring) are grow quickly. Unfortunately, their branches are relatively weak and break in high winds, so it’s a good idea to keep them trimmed. The white line on the photo shows how much the customer wanted to cut it back.
Here’s the Bradford pear after we trimmed it. It now has a nice round shape. It is also less much less likely to lose any branches during a severe thunderstorm.
Tree Removal
We can remove trees no matter what size they are. White Tree Service will cut down the trees, haul away the wood (Unless you want to keep it) and clean up any mess that we make in the process. Here’s an old black walnut tree that the owner wanted to remove. Because of it’s large height, we had to remove it in sections. The first step was removing the upper limbs. After that, we cut down the trunk. Last, we cut the wood into pieces small enough that we could haul them away and cleaned up our mess.
Down Tree Removal
Unfortunately, Indiana averages 22 tornadoes per year, along with countless thunderstorms. As trees get older, their tops stick up higher where the wind is stronger than it is at ground level. Also, their trunks sometimes begin to rot and become weaker.
If you have a down tree that needs to be removed, White Tree Services can handle it. We’ll get our chainsaws out, cut it up with and haul it away.
Stump Grinding
Nobody wants to see an ugly stump where there used to be a beautiful tree in their front yard. We can get rid of stumps by grinding them into wood chips. You can use them as mulch or we can haul them away.
Cat Stuck in Tree Rescue
Every so often we get a call to rescue an adventurous feline who climbs up a tree but can’t figure out how to get down. With our bucket truck we can retrieve stranded felines up to forty feet high. If they’re higher up or we can’t get close to the tree with the truck, Jose has to climb up and get them.
In May of 2023 we rescued the cat shown here along Westfield Boulevard in the Nora area. He was about fifty feet in the air, so Jose had to get out his climbing gear.

Note: If you live someplace other than central Indiana, please visit Cat in a Tree Emergency Rescue to find someone who can help you. We don’t recommend doing it yourself. In March of 2022 a teenager climbed a tree attempting to rescue a cat. The Indianapolis Fire Department had to rescue him. Here’s a video of the rescue from Fox59 News.
We Clean Up the Site When Our Work is Complete
Debris Removal
In most cases we remove and dispose of what we cut down. However, we can leave the wood if you prefer. We can stack it up if you desire, but please note that we don’t split it down to firewood size.
One of our customers wanted places to sit around his fire, so we cut the tree trunk into sections the proper height for seating.

After completing our jobs, we often have wood that we need to haul away for disposal. Please note that these are Not firewood size pieces.
